1947 and Beyond

Burger's successful plan was to restore the golf course to its former glory. The little 25-room hotel was transformed into a major resort, renamed the Ojai Valley Inn.

The Ojai Valley Inn opened April 15, 1947.

Today the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa is a premier destination resort. Described as casual elegance with luxury accommodations. It includes a spa, golf course, event facilities, tennis courts, fitness center, business center, bars, and restaurants.

Transit Occupancy Tax (TOT) from the Ojai Valley Inn is one of the primary sources of income for the City of Ojai. It accounts for 30 to 40% of the City's budget.
