Kelp is magnificent, inspiring and hopeful. Known to sequester more carbon than any forest on land, it stands as a tidal shift; a climate solution. Kelp forests grow quickly into canopies, up to two feet a day, providing food and shelter to thousands of species. Through learning about the vulnerable state of kelp forests, I wanted to highlight these exquisite macroalgae and find a way to protect them. A portion of the proceeds will support SeaTrees, a non-profit organization that works with coastal communities to help reforest the ocean. With your help may we restore giant kelp along the coast.
