Way back when I gave swim lessons to little kids. They loved being tossed up in the air and splashing down into the water.
Recently I was carving a hand, for practice, and I placed a figure within the hand, since I like carving figures. The finished piece ended up in my garden where it got soaked by the sprinkler, reminding me of those summers long ago, playing in the pool. A giant hand tossing a little kid through the air requires perspective. Those kids springing up off the bottom of the pool yelling, "More, More, More!", personifies persistence.
