This waxed linen woven form alludes to the slow stitch-by-stitch process of healing and repair. It took me about five months to finish this piece, which is about the same time the healing of my broken leg has taken reminding me of how slowly, but consistently nature repairs itself. I pray that we can all witness the healing of all that is broken in our world.
