I love lining up the sticks and then tying knots to secure them in place. It is a practice that allows me to count moments as I focus on one element, then the next creating an intricate storage battery of time. These structureless structures contain inward moments, while simultaneously building an outward form that catches light, air, and thoughts as they pass through. This has been a form of meditation I have practiced for years.
