Ojai Valley Museum Board Chairman Bill Kindig, left,
introduced the event sponsors Karen O'Neill and Michael Burgos.
"This is one of the highlights for the Museum," he told
the enthusiastic crowd of students and parents. "We've been doing
Awesome art for eight years, trying to give the high school students of
the Ojai Valley a chance to show how talented they are, for the public
to see."
"This year we had over 600 entries. It was particularly tough
job for our professional artist judges Gayel Childress, Jeanine
Beale, and Ted Gall, because we limited them to two winners
in each category."
