A unique way of celebrating Ojai Valley Museum’s 40th Anniversary.

"The Ojai Valley Museum was incorporated on October 31, 1966.  The Museum has benefited greatly from the support of persons who have donated objects of historical and artistic interest to the museum's collection.

"Our Staff has selected artifacts from our collection that represent the history of the Ojai Valley.

The artwork, the working tools and the home fashions bring us to a time gone by, but still remembered by many.  They are the technical foundation for the tools we use today.

"Our current mission is to assure that the collection and the museum are here for future generations, and that we build successfully upon the accomplishments of all those who have worked so hard for the success of the museum through forty years."

Jane McClenahan,
Director

      Also featured are  model stagecoaches.

Many pioneer families are represented in this exhibit, to provide a tangible connection to the lives of those who preceded us in the Ojai Valley.
