The Ojai Valley Museum and Historical Society  was founded in 1966 by dedicated volunteers.

The first homes of the Museum were at 841 and 333 East Ojai Avenue--The "Mysterious Inn" pictured above.       The Museum relocated to the old Firehouse on Montgomery Street in 1980.
Fire destroyed the original Catholic Church, pictured above.       In 1996, the Ojai Valley Museum moved to its current site in the old St. Thomas Aquinas Chapel.
